The shoulder is the most mobile joint in the body but achieves this mobility at the expense of skeletal stability such as that found in a knee joint. The rotator cuff is a series of muscles that helps to hold the arm into the socket as well as provide motion of the arm and shoulder.
At Redlands Spine and Sport we use a variety of techniques to regain normal muscle length and flexibility in the muscles that have become tight and retrain and strengthen the muscles that have become weak or inhibited. In doing so we can restore normal shoulder biomechanics and relieve pain.
